I can't remember if I mentioned that PJ and I were going to see this movie, but we did see it last week, and we loved it. It's just as funny as you would expect a Coen Brothers film to be, and it's one of those that left me wanting to see it again right away - sort of like my first reaction to Pulp Fiction. Brad Pitt and George Clooney are both hysterical, but I really enjoyed John Malkovich the most...what a great actor. Anyway, four thumbs up! (Two from me and two from PJ.)
"Burn After Reading" or "Shift Delete" seems to be the way I end all of my emails around work lately. Lots of catty back and forth going on...I need to back away from the drama of it all, but let's just say the dysfunction level is somewhat familiar, and that makes it difficult (at best) to resist. We have inventory this weekend. I've been dreading it for weeks, but I realize the dreading only makes it worse. I have to miss Banana's birthday party tomorrow because of it. I have to miss Scrap Pink at Scrap, Etc. because of it. I had to send the sweet baby dogs to stay with Bobbie Jo for a few days because of it. GAH! I hate it! I woke up this morning with a twitch in my eye that won't stop and my stomach is in knots. I swore last year I would not do this to myself again, and well, here I am. Right here. Still here.
Ahhh...Calamitory. Bring it.
