Happy Birthday, Clover! My precious puppy is one year old today. She would like to send birthday shouts out to her sister, Coco Salmon, too. (Come see us soon!)
I made it home today - finally. And boy, does it make a difference to sleep in your own bed with your own sheets and pillows and dogs all piled around. I used to babysit these precious children, Chris and Becca, and their mom, Cindy, would always sing "Home again, Home again, Jiggy, Jig, Jig" when she pulled into the garage of their house. Consequently, that little song was one of the first complete sentences I ever heard Becca repeat. I thought of her today as I walked in the house. There really is no place like home.
The doctor says I might be able to go back to work on the 23rd. I may go completely crazy by then, but I know I should just be grateful to be alive and well and surrounded by such loving friends and family.
I'll write more this weekend. For now, I'm going to enjoy just hanging out on the sofa with PJ and the puppies.
I am so sorry to hear you've been so sick! I loved reading about Wonder though. Must be nice to enjoy your job that much! We're just counting down the days til graduation. It seems like only yesterday it was us at good ole HHS. Hard to believe my baby will be heading to Auburn in a few short months!!! Take care!
Love :)
