First of all, I have some questions/comments for you.
- Have you ever learned how to do something in Photoshop and then you can't quit doing it? Yeah, me too.
- Have you ever driven somewhere and then can't remember driving there? I do that after work when I'm stressed out. I get all the way home and then I think, "Um. How did I get here?" Scary.
- Have you heard that song, "Kristofferson" by Tim McGraw? Sometimes I like a good ole twangy country song. Of course, sometimes I like a bad ass rap song, too. My tastes are varied.
- Have you ever heard of folie a deux? Me neither. Until today. WILD! I was googling how to spell "deux" for the title of this post and found that. Amazing what you can learn in an evening.
OK, so there's much to tell, but not enough energy to write about it now. So I thought I would just share some photos (and brief commentary) on life lately. We decided to make a quick trip to Chattanooga yesterday so I have some shots of that visit with the fam. I will tell you more about this later, but we went up so I could see my grandmother who is dying. Sigh. I just can't talk write about it yet. Mainly because I'm so sad for my dad and so depressed about the fact that one day I will be the one facing what he faces now. Please think of and pray for her, for him, for all of us.
Here we go... I like to call this first one. "My Auntie Noele got me this preppy bow and I sit in this preppy chair because me thinks I am preppy." Of course Clover did not know me in college, so she has no idea how preppy preppy can be.
Next up: This is my dog sister, Dixie. She thinks she is better than everyone else. My dad and stepmom think she is better than everyone else, too. I guess since she belongs to my dad and stepmom, she is actually my dog half sister. Figure that out. (I've had years of practice at naming relationships in my dysfunctional family.)
OK, next: My brother (how cute is he?) has a girlfriend that we like. We REALLY like her. Shhhh...don't jinx it!
And how cute are my stepmom and my dad? Very Cute. They probably won't like this picture, but I do. It totally captures how she is always laughing at him, He can be very entertaining.
Oh, here's another question for you: Do we look like we might be related? Maybe? A little bit?
I love them so.
Did I mention that I'm stressed out? Yeah, well, I will write more later...when I'm less stressed or more medicated.
well clover comes by the preppiness honestly... no doubt... great pics of the family.... 3 of a kind!!!!

As a witness to the college preppiness, you could give Clover a few pointers...And, Rachel Kate too. She has '80s day' at Red Mtn Theater Camp this week...Or, I could give her some Madonna-Holiday tips...
What does it say about your age when your past style becomes a Theme for dress up??!!! I know, I know...don't say it!

I seriously drive everywhere in that weird daze. I often wonder if I fell into a light slumber because, literally, I should have my own lane on the interstate, my commute is so long.

Love the pictures. Your brother is a little hottie. And how adorable is his girlfriend! Cute couple.
Hmmm, maybe that folie a deux is what I suffer from. Well, I guess maybe it's not exactly the same, because I have been driven nutso by more than one person. LOL!
