This time next week we will be at the beach. I've never been more ready to be on vacation in my life. I've let things really get to me at work lately...things that don't even matter are really irritating me these days. I'm not sure why, and I'm not sure if it's all my fault or if people are just getting more obnoxious as time goes by. Probably a little of both. I wish I could just go in, do my job, go home and FORGET ABOUT IT. I also wish I could just do my job without noticing or caring what anyone else does or does not do. Additionally, I wish I could just stop when I've done enough...just once I would like to think, "You know, Mandy, this is good. You're done. This is enough." I laugh even thinking that...it's never good enough, never finished. And it's wearing me out. I do most of this to myself, but I also have some other WACKED OUT dynamics around there that make the whole thing just ridiculously unbearable at times - enough to make me want to rip all of my hair out.
Truly I would love to be satisfied with my work. Is that too much to ask?
Apparently.
Enough of that.
Here's a layout I did today with pieces of the new Scripts kit and a quote I cut from the front of a greeting card by Kate Harper Designs. I love how the orange in the paper and embellishments pulls out the orange sunset in the photos. Did I mention we will be at the beach this time next week?
LOVE the layout and quote. I hope this next week goes by so fast - your head is spinning instead of bald - that way you can enjoy your beach trip quicker!! :)
