Today is Banana's birthday. She's three years old.
Sigh.
I took these photos of her at her mom's baby shower after she had begged for a solid hour to get in the pool. She didn't have a bathing suit with her so one of the hostess's little girls let her borrow a gymnastics leotard. (Where there's a will, there's a way. She's a very determined child.)
I'm crazy about her. I'm sure that's obvious. Seriously - she has such a sweet spirit and is extremely affectionate. Just a few weeks ago she was sitting with me playing on the computer and suddenly stopped and kissed me on the cheek and said, "I love you, Aunt Mandy." I'm telling you, she is precious. I'm in charge of hanging out with her for the day when her baby sister is scheduled to be born in a couple of weeks. That should be interesting. She refuses to discuss the arrival of Addison for now. I have a feeling it's gonna be a big adjustment...for all of us.
Happy Birthday, Banana Boat. I love you, too.
Ok, the whole post has me a little teary eyed. You probably will have a huge impact on this little one's life. :)
